Hugh is an experienced Board level executive with a proven ability in delivering improved operating performance and implementing transformational change. Hugh’s experience covers both Charity and Commercial sectors including Trading MD at Age UK, Help the Aged and PDSA and Operations Director at Birthdays Group Ltd.
Project work undertaken includes:
- Led the merger of national two federated entities into Age UK, creating £6M of synergy savings
- Developed Age UK Trading from £4 to 12M profit in four years
- Strategy review, development and implementation
- Commercial trading and business development – end to end product licensing and retail operations
- Product portfolio review / development including ROI and capital allocation
