Lucy is a passionate about promoting opportunities for disadvantaged people and has developed a career driving step change and improvements in the voluntary sector. In her 20 plus years of experience, Lucy has held Board and senior management level positions in a range of charities, including Victim Support, Age UK, The Stroke Association and Macmillan Cancer Support. Lucy has a track record on leading and delivering improvement programmes in complex environments. This has included leading on large scale cross organisational transformation projects to improve cost efficiencies and create strategies that increase income. Lucy has led on transforming fundraising functions at both Age UK and Victim Support. From securing £4M corporate funding, developing fundraising products and leading on a multi partnership major grant schemes, she has most recently established a five-year strategy income strategy for Victim Support to raise £8M, from both high level giving, B2B solutions and enterprise activity.
Project work undertaken includes strategy review & business realignment, income generation, new business development, academic evidence based research, SROI evaluations, customer insight and programme / change management with specific focus on developing a commercial awareness culture in charities.
